The American Association of Airport Executives and the City of Chicago Department of Aviation invite you to the Sixth Annual Airports Going Green Conference, November 12-14, 2013, at The Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza in downtown Chicago, Illinois.
Airports Going Green brings together aviation sustainability leaders and innovators, providing national and international airport and airline perspectives on sustainability. This conference covers all aspects of sustainability unique to an airport environment, from administrative procedures, planning, design, construction, operations, maintenance, concessions and tenants, to social responsibility.
The conference will be held over two days packed with sustainability case studies, innovations, and achievements. We'll hear from airport and industry leaders from around the world on how sustainability drives decision making, influences the marketplace, and saves money and resources. We'll explore such topics ranging from collaboration and stakeholder involvement; to ACRP Research updates; to the finances of sustainability; to innovations in technology; and much more!
All sessions will take place at The Chicago Mart Plaza Holiday Inn, 350 West Mart Center Drive, Chicago, IL 60654, located adjacent to the Chicago Merchandise Mart, the world's largest LEED Certified Building. The conference will begin on Tuesday, November 12, at 7:30 a.m. (registration and continental breakfast with exhibitors) and will end at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, after the airfield tour.
Registration fees include the reception, two continental breakfasts, two lunches, all refreshment breaks, and the airport tour. Dress is business casual (no ties). Confirmation letters will be emailed to attendees.
