The American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and LeighFisher are proud to announce the next worldwide conversation on airport privatization presented at the "Airport Privatization in a Global Market - Is it Time for the U.S.?" conference, March 27-29, 2011, at the Parc 55 Wyndham San Francisco - Union Square in San Francisco, California.
This global forum-made up of airports, financial institutions, governmental officials, attorneys, investment firms and consultants-will focus the agenda discussions on the United States.
Is it time for the U.S. to take a leadership role in airport privatization? Which airports are best positioned to capture the benefits of privatization and better serve the needs of a public audience? Can the U.S. airport model, one of the world's most successful, transition from historic public funding to a new level of opportunity that is privately funded? The purpose of this conference is to address these questions.
Speakers will also highlight the details of successful privatizations and "best practices" at other international airports and in other modes of transportation. Experiences, lessons learned and opportunities on the horizon will be shared by presenters and applied to the U.S. market.
The backdrop for the privatization forum will be the cosmopolitan city of San Francisco. After hours, its majestic hills, alluring waterfront and charming neighborhoods will awaken your spirit; its shopping will amaze you; and its food and ethnic restaurants will satisfy.
All sessions will take place at the Parc 55 Wyndham San Francisco - Union Square. The conference begins with registration and a continental breakfast at 8 a.m. on Monday, March 28, and concludes at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29. The conference includes a welcome reception from 6-7 p.m., on Sunday, March 27.
