The AAAE General Aviation (GA) Issues Conference is an annual event that combines all aspects of general aviation on a national level. This year, we are making it even more valuable, devoting the second day to security. This structure will allow us to dive deeper into the detail of such critical issues such as TSA’s Large Aircraft Security Program, GA Airport Vulnerability Assessment and other high profile security measures. The conference will also cover best practices in revenue generation, proven strategies to preserve that earned revenue, as well as an update on the push towards finding a replacement for leaded fuel and new environmental regulations the GA community will be faced with.
Our host for the conference this year is Morristown Municipal Airport and is in cooperation with Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), Aviation Management Consulting Group (AMCG), General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO), National Air Transportation Association (NATA) and National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).
The AAAE GA Issues Conference will cover a range of notable issues affecting general aviation today and the challenges facing the industry in the future. The sessions will provide an opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss and debate a variety of issues vital to general aviation. The conference will provide a unique networking forum with prominent figures in the GA community, U.S. government, and industry.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Airport leaders, FBO owners and managers, business operators, aircraft manufacturers, students, press, and other members of the general aviation industry will not want to miss this opportunity.
All sessions will take place at the Hyatt Morristown. The conference will begin with a welcome reception on Tuesday, June 29, at 6 p.m. and will end with an airport tour on Thursday, July 1. Registration fees include the reception, two continental breakfasts, one luncheon, all refreshment breaks and course materials. Dress is business casual (no ties).
