7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
In our country, home-ownership has been a cornerstone of this American Dream and the means to build equity, wealth and a better future. Many families are locked out of the homeownership opportunities many of us take for granted, and are left with few options to break out of the renter's cycle.
TransSolutions is thrilled to offer our AAAE colleagues the chance to help a deserving Habitat family achieve the dream of home ownership. So many of us are involved in building things, that it seems to be a particularly fitting and personal contribution that each individual makes to an event that helps so many others. - Gloria Bender, TransSolutions
It takes a community to build each Habitat home, and we hope you will join us in building homes, neighborhoods and hope in the Dallas/Fort Worth area this summer. Get to know your fellow aviation professionals and family members while helping to give back to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. On behalf of AAAE and TransSolutions, in conjunction with the Trinity Habitat for Humanity, this group volunteer opportunity is available for interested attendees and their guests to volunteer and give back to the community that is so graciously hosting us. If you are interested in this opportunity, please make sure to sign up in advance. In addition, if you do volunteer to participate, please note that you need to be available to work the entire time, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (covers travel time).
Your support provides a pathway for hardworking, low-income families to realize their dream. By demonstrating financial discipline, contributing 250 hours of sweat equity and repaying their home mortgage, Habitat families are able to build a brighter future for themselves and their children.

About The New Homeowner
"I live in a two bedroom condo with my sister and a friend. My sister and I share a very small bedroom. I can't afford to pay rent for my own apartment on my income. I have never owned a home and I would not have had the opportunity without the affordable housing offered by Habitat. I arrived in the United States from Myanmar in 2005. I am now studying for an Associates degree in Nursing that I hope will enable me to provide for myself while giving back to the community. I will try my best to be a good community leader. Now that I am on my way toward a good career and home ownership, I look forward to the future."
