The American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and the Indianapolis Airport Authority welcomed 40 airport art directors, artists, and vendors to the 8th Annual AAAE Arts in the Airport Workshop April 14-16 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The program included airport presentations ranging from reviews of airport art programs and video art projects to funding art programs and policies and procedures for creating a performing arts program. The following airports delivered presentations: Dallas/Fort Worth, Dayton International, Indianapolis International, Jacksonville International, Los Angeles International, Nashville International Philadelphia International, and San Francisco International.
The workshop also included new presentations on how partnerships advance public art programs given by the Alaska State Council on the Arts and airport art and the First Amendment delivered by Miller & Van Eaton, P.L.L.C.
