The AAAE NextGen Airport Conference will follow a unique format. In addition to panel discussions the conference will also feature technology demonstrations providing attendees with opportunities to learn about advanced technologies currently being implemented and developed.
The following demonstrations are being featured this year:

Technology Demonstration by: Eagle Integrated Solutions, Inc.Airfield operations have increased in complexity and volume. There are a number of factors that contribute to this including but not limited to regulatory requirements, budget constraints, more takeoff and landings, training issues and the loss of those experienced airfield personnel. Air traffic continues to increase and therefore tools to assist in mitigating human error and training are critical to ensure a safe work environment and adapt to new technologies to enhance airside safety and support. GPS/GIS technology and solution sets offers an attractive channel for locating items, tagging data to fixed items through easy to use graphic interface along with a cost of hardware and software, the main ingredient for useful solutions is available for airfields and airside operations to take advantage of.
SmartAirport™ Demonstration- With the notion that a properly managed AOA is our most precious resource in terms of airport viability, this presentation and demonstration will concentrate on the existing and emerging technologies being used to guide aircraft, ATC, airfield operations, maintenance and management towards optimal, safe usage of existing infrastructures. Treating the airport as an ecosystem in terms of sharing of information and the decisions that can result from this approach will be at the center of the demonstration. Delegates can get a glimpse of possible process improvements already being used to drive Airport Authorities towards SMS, maximum utilization and safety.
