WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Airport leaders, FBO owners and managers, business operators, aircraft manufacturers, students, press, and other members of the general aviation industry will not want to miss this opportunity.
PRIVATE SCREENING OF THE NATIONALLY ACCLAIMED DOCUMENTARY "ONE SIX RIGHT"
"One Six Right: The Romance of Flying" is an exhilarating documentary film that celebrates the unsung hero of aviation – the local airport – by tracing the life, history, and struggles of Van Nuys Airport. The film uncovers the rich history of the 2008 GA Issues Conference host airport – Amelia Earhart broke a world speed record over its runways, Marilyn Monroe was discovered while working in its hangars, and scenes from Casablanca were filmed on its grounds. Almost every type of aircraft has graced its runways, from the primitive airplanes of the 1920’s to the state-of-the-art business jets of today.
The private screening, open only to conference attendees, will feature guest appearance by the documentary’s producer/director Brian J. Terwilliger.
EVENING EVENT - Twilight Tour of the “Flying White House”
Perched on hilltop property with sweeping views of the mountains, valleys and Pacific Ocean, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum is the most unique event location in Southern California. Board the retired Air Force One which flew seven U.S. presidents and countless world leaders to promote peace and democracy, and watch history unfold as you view world-class exhibits during your private Museum tour. Then, unwind and enjoy a cocktail reception at the Library’s famous Ruwe Terrace featuring a replica of the White House South Lawn, an actual piece of the Berlin Wall and stunning sunset views.

Aside from the traditional sponsorships of conference events, there are also opportunities to get your company's logo on attendee badges and to sponsor the conference website, which will remain with the conference for multiple years.
